If you discovered that one of your subordinates had been fraternising with the enemy, meeting up secretly for 'fishing' trips, going off on extra-organisational outings such as testing fuel cell vehicles on Bolivian salt flats, how might you deal with this traitor?
Quick to try and pick a fight, aren't you? Don't worry, I'm sure you'll eventually find someone to take up your declaration of war.

Fraternizing, I'll allow.
Oh, such a permissive director.

Please, Grovington, unlike you, I'm hardly as captious.

I gather you've broken a few hearts, Mr. Devineaux. Have you ever had your own shattered?

What's Chase's stance on OPSEC? (Given that he himself routinely breaks it)
OPSEC is necessary for any mission. I've always followed OPSEC protocol.

(To clarify: OPSEC or Operational Security is only applicable during operations/missions. Chase has never shared sensitive information (about the operation or about ACME) to VILE or other non-friendly organizations during OPSEC. The protocol doesn't prevent communication with the enemy. It's about not sharing certain information.)

Was chuckling at the dialog between you and Euge, forgot there was a question.

I don’t know if I’ve really broken hearts, I’m aware I’ve hurt feelings. I think. Maybe.

As for my own, the answer is yes — figuratively shattered, destroyed, trampled, descimated — whichever word you want to use. Happens plenty, and often.

That sounds so horrible.

Do tell us more.
I'll just give one example, the rest are less relevant.

When I was 14, I had a crush on an older girl, she was 16 at the time and a sophomore in high school. She lived across the street. One day she sort of teased, that I'd be her pick to the high school dance if I could dance. Being the gullible kid that I was, I took it seriously and told my parents I wanted to take dancing lessons.

Long story short, some six months later, on my way back from one of these lessons, a limo and a guy in a tuxedo picked her up. She hadn't told me when the dance was, so I guess that was fair. Worst part was when she saw me and waved... like I was her little brother.

I mulled over it for well over a week before my mother got suspicious about me not wanting to go back to dance class and forced it out of me. Great times, really.

one of the GOOD spiders you want around because they eat all the really bad bugs in the house. We put them outside :)

@Lucy ... don't know if you really want wolf spiders in your home... I'd go for jumping spiders, they can't bite... wolf spiders are the fast movers, and they can bite.

((Will lose my ACP internet towards the end of the month, unless anyone knows about it ending sooner. Trying to switch my Lifeline phone to a better provider that doesn't shut me off after four and a half gigs of data, nothing but failure so far and "call here" and "it's on their end" and the back and forth crap... in the morning, it's time to demand the supervisor and might even get to harsh language (after three days of that). I plan to use the Lifeline phone tethered as Internet source, share that to my own router... I've done it before (it's messy, and not 100% effective, but it works). ))

((The 'net is the main way to apply for jobs now, so I need that, and I've moved/changed Lifeline providers before without an issue, so no idea what the problem is. I have active Verizon through ACP, active Lifeline through Airtalk... is that somehow the issue? If anyone knows, please let me know before I tear someone a new one (ya know what I mean). After three days of this, and two days about a month ago, I'm ready to walk there with katana in hand.))
