I don't know who you're referencing, but I never shoot the messenger (or surrogate questioner for that matter).

I've interrogated messengers, but they're usually considered non-combatants.

Just to be clear, I don't slap people. You're safe.
Chase, I've watch a little much of NCIS reruns and believe me I laugh a little or maybe a lot when Gibbs does his head slap DiNozzo the most but not that painful just either a wake up call or being childish while on the case. (I don't own the TV show whatsoever)

If you were Gibbs and Lee is DiNozzo would head slap him for letting someone ask you a question for him? *she head slap herself lightly as an example and ran off.*

@Jade, it's fine, thanks for letting me know. You also don't have to mention whether or not you own a TV show to talk about it here.

I actually want to do both. So I'd take Tibetan Mahayana in Nepal and Theravada in Cambodia. I think three months is the standard? I'm hoping to block out an entire year, doesn't seem possible given my current vacation time allotment.
The minimum is 15 days. I recommend sometime in March for Cambodia and May for Nepal.

I once received a stuffed snow leopard paw from a French-speaking Chinese-Russian Oligarch along with a packet of what seemed to be its ground-up bones. The label said 'drink with tea'.

I wasn't sure at first if it was a threat.

But turns out, he hunted the cat in Siberia and split up its parts to share with his 'friends'. I never got to see him again after that mission, he ended up on a list, something about the South China Seas and an FSB brass. The paw and bones are currently in ACME's evidence archives, Case File 437-A82966-QED.
I might still consider it a threat. Snow leopards are nearly invisible, except for the path they leave behind. The gift may signify that. This paw was how the hunter found his prey.

I also note the quod erat demonstrandum nature of that file naming system. Well labeled.

If you discovered that one of your subordinates had been fraternising with the enemy, meeting up secretly for 'fishing' trips, going off on extra-organisational outings such as testing fuel cell vehicles on Bolivian salt flats, how might you deal with this traitor?

I figured you'd enjoy that -- the Latin, not the snow leopard paw.

Considering the untimely demise of this 'friend', I'm going to say whatever he meant by that is going to stay unverified.

I think labeling anyone a 'traitor' is a little much. Doesn't look like this subordinate's gone against organizational rules. Are they sharing classified information? Are they dutifully reporting wrong doing to Leadership?

Fraternizing, I'll allow. Espionage, though, is something else entirely. Wouldn't be my decision. They'll have to face Internal Affairs and stand some sort of trial.

@Lucy ... don't know if you really want wolf spiders in your home... I'd go for jumping spiders, they can't bite... wolf spiders are the fast movers, and they can bite.

((Will lose my ACP internet towards the end of the month, unless anyone knows about it ending sooner. Trying to switch my Lifeline phone to a better provider that doesn't shut me off after four and a half gigs of data, nothing but failure so far and "call here" and "it's on their end" and the back and forth crap... in the morning, it's time to demand the supervisor and might even get to harsh language (after three days of that). I plan to use the Lifeline phone tethered as Internet source, share that to my own router... I've done it before (it's messy, and not 100% effective, but it works). ))

I have active Verizon through ACP, active Lifeline through Airtalk... is that somehow the issue? If anyone knows, please let me know before I tear someone a new one (ya know what I mean). After three days of this, and two days about a month ago, I'm ready to walk there with katana in hand.))
