Q & A Little Big Dreams

(This is is not a dream I had, so it is definitely OOC; and yes, Lucy knows that I'm posting this.)

My mother told me about a dream she had, either late last night, or sometime this morning.

She said that in the dream, I left Ohio, and moved to Florida and Lucy and I moved in to her apartment.
After we had been roommates for a while, we moved out to California, where we began writing scripts for some kind of on-line soap-opera.

The End

I think the reason she had this dream is because of all the times, IRL, where she has overheard Lucy and I discussing various story ideas for here. There was a time, not too long ago, when my mom thought I was "crazy for doing all that Carmen Sandiego stuff" but more recently, she has told me,"I now see the value of having having an active fantasy life." ?

I just had a dream about where we would sneak into places. Carmen would show us a way and then we would split up and explore the place. I think we were looking for objects she asked us for? One girl said she could climb a wall and get to the high ceilings and I asked her if she was sure. The girl was telling me how many times she'd done this before and said not to worry. Then we found the objects or what ever it was we were looking for, well Carmen took off and left us there. We tried to go out the way we came but it was blocked. It took us awhile but we did get out in the end.

Reinact looking for specific objects? Yeah it was a fun dream. I could maybe make a thread, if we want to do that

I had a dream we were on a case and there was a problem getting in a building so I entered through a window, got stuck in a narrow stairwell. I woke up there. I'm sure somebody noticed and got me

I had a mysterious woman visit me last night, wore red, big red hat, and was all dressed up. I couldn't see her face but she was assisting me with whatever I was doing.

As some of you know I've been learning new skills as of late. Well, last night I was in some case and I remember shooting a guy twice in the chest in self-defense and then my back-up arriving. I feel like it was kind of my self-confidence getting a boost. I still don't know if I'd be able to shoot someone dead but maybe I can do one of the things that I've been talking about for a while now. A self-defense class. I've been scared to do it for awhile but now it looks possible.

OOC: most of the stuff I've written here has come from dreams. I tend to visualize my stuff before I write it.

 

[Lucy]

I thought about my job and what would come after before I went to sleep last night, but I loved my dream. I was out on a picnic with Chase, and we both had picnic baskets. He gave me a small puzzle shaped like the Eiffel tower and there was a little clue in it with a note that said "Catch me if you can, Detective."

Note: (at work I accidentally kidney punched myself with a door it is the kind where you have to push the bar to open, I had opened it tripped and nailed myself.)

So in my dream I was in the medical wing, after kidney punching myself, Ivy, Zack and Eugene were there with various minor injuries. Chase walked in right in the the middle of safety awareness week. Ivy had accidentally fractured a few fingers, Zack just happened to trip, and Eugene had a minor soldering burn. Meanwhile at Vile Carmen was with her team who was also injured in various ways. So I jokingly say they are both cursed for the week. I also had my kidney punch caught on camera, and we were all filling out paper work for an accident report. Chase was a bit bewildered on how that happened. Before that I had met Carmen and told her I cant do things at the moment due to the door incident. She was just glad I was ok for the most part.
