I don't know much about my mother's family. She was an only child. Her parents are still alive. Funnily enough, they were clients at my old firm. Small world, huh?
Now I'm totally wondering, did they know you were their grandchild when they were clients at your old firm?

They had no idea who I was. It was at their behest that my mother left my dad and me, and they never had any contact with us. I found out their names when I decided to look for my mother in high school. Once I graduated college and started looking for a job, I figured it wouldn't hurt to find out how grandma and grandpa were investing their money since it was so important to them. I took a job at their firm and took real good care of it for them. Secretly, of course.

It was my 25th birthday present to myself: a Bugatti Chiron. A bit of a splurge, but I couldn't help myself. I love fast cars and they're absolutely gorgeous.
I'm more of a Pagani Huayra.
Top 5 supercars according to Emma, and why?

Top 5 supercars according to Emma, and why?
1. McLaren 720S - This car is so aerodynamic and light. It's gorgeous and a dream to drive both on road and on track.
2. Bugatti Chiron - I love the design of this car. It reminds me of old race cars from the 1930s. The speed on this thing is amazing and steering and braking is effortless.
3. McLaren P1 - A wonderful car. The hybrid nature is a nice feature and using it doesn't detract from (street legal) speed. The noise it makes is also gorgeous though it can be a bit loud in the cabin.
4. Ferarri 488 GTB - A good improvement on the 458. It's not the most impressive one on the list but still a good option; good speed, good suspension. An overall enjoyable drive.
5. Vencer Sarthe - Has pretty good suspension and is good for normal driving but it's not as powerful the others on the list. Still nice to drive though. I also appreciate the lack of electronic presence in the cabin; it can be a nice change of pace from some of the others on my list.

Have any pets?
Hmm, no pets. I never had any growing up so it's never really occurred to me to get one. I suppose if I were to get one, I would get a cat. But I have a feeling that I won't be spending much time in my apartment so it's probably for the best that I don't have one.

You seem to have resentment for your mother and her side of the family, do you still harbor these resentments and if so, do you ever see yourself letting that go? If not, what changed?

(For reasons unknown, I initially read that as "my old farm" and thought Emma was into agriculture as a hobby. Which would have been interesting, to be fair.)

I do harbor a deep resentment for my mother and her parents, and I don't think that is ever going to go away. You have to understand, it's because of my grandparents' greed, snobbery, and disdain and my mother’s weak will and selfishness that I lost any chance of growing up with both my parents.

My mother's parents came from money and didn’t approve of their only child marrying a high school dropout, but they seemed to think my mother realize her mistake and leave my dad for someone within their social standing. From what I've managed to pry out of my dad, my parents were truly happy together even if money was tight sometimes, and my mother didn’t speak to her parents for over a year. But once her parents found out that I was born, they gave her an ultimatum: either divorce my dad and leave us or face disownment. She decided that she wanted her inheritance more that her husband and daughter. I was only five months old.

My dad did his very best to support us. I watched him work himself to exhaustion in order to put me through a good school, go without dinner so that I could eat, stay up with me if I had a bad dream even though he had worked for the past 36 hours without sleep.

If it was just me they had wronged, then I might be able to eventually, not forgive them, but certainly forget them. But I cannot forgive them for the hurt they caused my dad.

From dawn until dusk, what does the perfect day look like for Emma?
While I'm not usually an early riser, I'd get out of bed well-rested while it was still dark, make myself the perfect cup of coffee, and then watch the sun rise over the Philadelphia skyline. After that would be a delicious breakfast with sausage, eggs, potatoes, this wonderful French toast from a restaurant in New York that I can't remember the same of, and plenty of mimosa.

Next, I'd take a trip down to a raceway where I could drive my Chiron to my hearts content without having to worry about stopping to refuel. After driving for a few hours, I'd get lunch from my favorite Mexican restaurant (the queso is to die for).

From there I'd be instantly transported to a remote beach in the Mediterranean. I'd spend the rest of my afternoon soaking up the sun and walking along the water without getting sunburnt.

Finally, I'd head back home to Philadelphia for dinner with my dad at Big Time Diner, our favorite place to eat. I'd get my usual, a bacon cheeseburger with a peanut butter milkshake. Very satisfied with my day, I'd go back home to my penthouse, enjoy a nice glass of wine, and get ready for bed.

Hey @Tenchi Masaki btw I did save my password after my last bout of computer trouble. This time however I saved the wrong password so. As for Jon Eckart, I DO use Chrome browser the problem is when we I get on another computer the passwords aren't stored. That's my current problem. So I'm either gonna make a new account or figure something out 'cause I'm not bothering boss man :D :D

Moving stuff in is gonna be a struggle (wall outside main door is like a 60-degree angle)... big desk (mine), big entertainment center (the folks), "things" are gonna be weird (no privacy). The folks want it (gas stove in an apartment, claw-foot bathtub)... not all of our stuff comes apart nicely))
