OK everybody! Post your gifts here, I'll go first.

I'm @Carmen's Secret Santa.
It’s really tough to get you things because you don’t like keeping stuffs. So this year, I present you with a Birman kitty! Since you’re not always at HQ to take care of pets, I volunteer to be a good kitty-mom for you.

Right, so mine is Flag.

Okay so, I go through our history of stories, and it looks like we’ve been through a lot. It’s really no excuse if I fumble around and not give you anything meaningful. I notice you had a kris dagger, so here’s a keris sword from Indonesia to compliment it. It’s a Kalawijan Keris, about 34 cm long, made in the style of 16th century Mataram Sultanate. The blade is made from alternating layers of iron and nickelous iron. The hilt and sheath are teak with brass. Enjoy this work of art… as art, strictly.

Zack's present had taken a bit of work, and honestly it felt weird spending so much time making a gift for an ACME, but she'd used stolen technology to make it, so it was only fair.

"Dear Zack" she wrote on the card, then blanked. What do ACMEs say to each other? Best keep it short, she thought. "Merry Holidays! Love, an ACME. PS. Will not work over water."

An interesting thing about repeating an experience is being able to spy details from another perspective. In this case, a post-operation briefing that escaped it's confines led to a informed observation the next time around.

It didn't take much. Pulling a favor to make sure that a note was added to the right document would ensure that the targeted recipient would recieve the package... eventually.

To Lee Jordon, the ornate cane would be a baffleing (if not disturbing) reminder of poor choices and a soured correspondence; while it would be salt in the wound of a certain ACME prisoner with a pension for wearing tweed. For Flag, it was a petty yet oddly vindicating source of amusement.

Merry Christmas!

I've got gifts for everyone!

First gift goes to @Julie Justice...Why? Because I'm her secret Santa that's why!

Just in case she couldn't stop at an overcrowded coffee shops just for a cappuccino...she make one herself at home...a milk frother (PRODUKT) and a milk frothering jug (MATTLIG) along with some batteries (ALKALISK) and a $100 gift card from IKEA in which those products (PRODUKT,MATTLIG and ALKALISK) has come from. (by the way I don't own IKEA or its products whatsoever)

I've got more gifts coming up if its okay by the host of this year's Secret Santa gifts thread.

For my friend @Invader, with her unusual taste in pets

From the legend of the woodcutter and his family, who had no decorations for their Christmas tree.
Maybe you can enjoy it next year:

Thanks so much for the great gift, @Jade. :)

(IRL, I'm at home, in Ohio; and will be visiting family later. But I promise, I will start looking for something for you...and Sam, too, of course. Lol. Have a very Merry Christmas. ;) )

To @Chase Devineaux,

you've been a worthy rival to VILE and we hope that you continue to play the game with us for many years to come.
Through our interactions, I've come to realise you're a man who has a good appreciation for the old school so here's an old school gift for you - a vintage shaving kit.

(btw, Carmen says you should shave off your beard)

Hey-hey @Joe Kerr! This Christmas, your Secret Santa (me) got you a private tour of 10 of the UK’s top castles! I figured hey, you’re a thief, maybe you might want to also be a legal tourist sometimes.

The list includes:
Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire
Dunluce, Co Antrim
Warwick Castle (pictured)
Corfe Castle, Dorset
Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey
Tower of London
Skipton Castle, North Yorkshire
Astley Castle, Warwickshire
Dover Castle, Kent
Ludlow Castle, Shropshire

You can take the tour anytime, for you and one other person, but you’ll need to call ahead because some castles are closed seasonally or for renovations.

Have fun learning, Joe!

((So... the latest is that the woman who reported the folks to the police, called the guy who handled the appeal (after we left the room) and told him that if he doesn't make sure to get the folks out of the building, she'd make things difficult for him. The property manager told ma a few days ago, and ma told me today. So, anyone know what that would be called? Coercing, bribery, influence peddling? Would that invalidate the eviction? This is Section 8 housing, so low-income housing. The appeal decision should in theory get here next week or maybe Friday, and they can appeal again, maybe this one would be in real court... don't know. I will advise the folks contact legal aid and see what they say.))

((Correction: the parents are caving, they are planning for the move ON January 1st, without waiting to hear what the appeal decision is, and not willing to fight it. I stormed out of their place tonight (punched the call button for the elevator... they may have heard it), because I know they could win the second appeal hands down (they don't want "more of the stress from all this", they would discuss shit when I went to the bathroom tonight). I reminded them they may not get the entertainment center through the door to the apartment, we probably will have to take the claw legs off the table for the first time ever, but they have their heart set on it. ))

They're set on a two bedroom apartment ($154 more than the current, at least), it's up to me if I want to move, they said. Once we leave this place (section 8/low-income housing, the waiting list is over 2 years), that's it... the building manager retires later 2025... she pulled a string to get me in here))

Did you know.....The original candy canes were straight sugar sticks that were often used to decorate Christmas trees. The first historical reference to the cane shape was in 1670, when the choirmaster at Cologne Cathedral in Germany bent the sugar sticks into the shape of a shepherd's staff. Candy canes remained white until the early 20th century when red stripes and peppermint flavor became popular.
