It’s really tough to get you things because you don’t like keeping stuffs. So this year, I present you with a Birman kitty! Since you’re not always at HQ to take care of pets, I volunteer to be a good kitty-mom for you.

Naturally, I cannot say no. Look at those eyes.

And of course, as luck would have it, Patty… It’s been some time since I’ve participated in our two-women book club. To make up for it, here is a copy of La amiga estupenda by Elena Ferrante. She’s one of the most influential authors of our time, and while the book does have an English translation (My Brilliant Friend), I thought this might encourage you to brush up your Italian. Tanti baci.

Nice Santa suit,Chase! Like I said I've got more Christmas presents for everyone...

1. To Patty: I've got some accessories from an outlet store that sells luxury brands for less...a round shaped sunglasses (Balenciaga/Tortoiseshell acetate),a multicolored rainbow hologram belt (Vetements) and a small black croc faux leather backpack (Comme des Garcons).

2. To Carmen: I've got replicas: two busts (Nefertiti from Egypt and Mozart from Austria) andtwo old maps (Amsterdam and Russia).

3. To Chase: I don't know what he'll like but he doesn't mind that I've got him a shot glass from Morocco and a Helly Hansen life jacket from Norway (in case he goes sailing).

4. To Lee Jordan: a beer stein all the way from the Westerwald region of Germany (one with a hinged pewter lid on a salt glazed gray pottery and decorated in a cobalt blue painted design),a small Viking drinking horn from Norway and a blue glazed ashtray from the City of Fes,Morocco (just in case he needs that to smoke outside)

5. To Zack: I've got him a vintage Harvard sweater
6. To Joe: I hope he doesn't mind a red and black men's smoking jacket.
7. To Neb: I've got her a Kokeshi doll and just in case she needs to sleep a 1950's style daybed.

8. To Invader: a charm bracelet that features Disney's the Little Mermaid: Ariel the little mermaid,Sebastian the crab,Flounder,Ariel's friend (a tropical fish),Scuttle the seagull,Eric the human prince and Ursula the evil sea witch. (sorry Invader I wish there is a King Triton charm but they don't have one at all)

9. To Lucy: a gold bangle bracelet from India.
10. To Vic: a jar of mustache wax and a big Norwegian smoked salmon.
11. To Nevon: a $250 gift card from Omaha Steaks

And last but not least...Flag: I hope he doesn't mind for a Bohemian garnet from Prague,Czech Republic and a brilliant cut diamond from Amsterdam,Netherlands.

Right, so mine is Flag.

Okay so, I go through our history of stories, and it looks like we’ve been through a lot. It’s really no excuse if I fumble around and not give you anything meaningful. I notice you had a kris dagger, so here’s a keris sword from Indonesia to compliment it. It’s a Kalawijan Keris, about 34 cm long, made in the style of 16th century Mataram Sultanate. The blade is made from alternating layers of iron and nickelous iron. The hilt and sheath are teak with brass. Enjoy this work of art… as art, strictly.
