I always heard that if you want to be good at something, it has to be an obsession, so mine is martial arts.

I have a few blackbelts from Taekwando, Ju-Jitsu and Judo and I'm always working on highering my rank in other styles. Recently I've been mixing several self denfense tactics from kick boxing and Krav Maga, but If I have time on my hands, I'd likely use it to study a new dicipline.

Fashion, trends, colors, and design--I love these things and they have to all come together too. I also love that some people fear fashion, it's like a zone full of anxiety. Ooh.

I'm obsessed with dancing. I absolutely love it. All dancing is pretty fun. Waltz, Swing, Tango, Cha Cha, Ballet, etc. It's my favorite exercise. It makes you feel so free and alive. There are so many wonderful things about dancing that I can't possible list them here.

My greatest obsession is plant propigation and creating hybrids. It's so satisifying to perfectly graft two different types of Phalaenopsis Orchids into one healthy plant or to get a new speckled variety of Tea Rose.

That catalyist for this obsession would likely be a small windowbox I had when I was five and recovering from a broken leg. When I couldn't go out and play, I was able to grow marigolds and violets there. It made me happy to see how much flowers can achieve without the ability to move around.

I'm obsessed with the controlled explosives. Often, you do not know how the rigged area will perform and a team will have only one chance to estimate where the force and debris will go.

This started when I was part of ACME's team to implode several structures that were of risk in urban areas. I had much fun understanding the physics.

Patterns.

I am obsessed with finding the patterns in everything.

The first pattern I remember revolved around waking up to the smell of baking bread followed, in time, to the sounds of my mother preparing and leaving for work. In the evenings, there was a pattern to which the aeroplanes landed at the Genève Aéroport, depending on the day of the week and month of the year. Sometimes, my mother and I would sit by the Lake and compare the arrivals and departures to the published flight schedules. It was always a delight for me. I once went through a phase when I had to inspect all the wallpapers I passed, and every one of my grandmother's colourful dresses for the pattern to their print. Without a doubt, I caused much delays and became rather notorious for it--tales often brought up at every family reunion.

There are patterns to be discovered in the movement of atoms and of stars, in mathematical equations and in scientific theories, in the behaviours of animals and of humans, in war and in peace, in health and in illness... I am always excited to discover that pattern and, when situation permits, what breaks that pattern and what that break in pattern incurs.

Besides the obvious affinity for firearms...

Tattoos. I love ink, and the stories behind other's adornments. It's striking how someone could find an image so meaningful, so powerful, that they'd want to carry it with them always.

popularized by a Twitter account in 2010. It is named after the misunderstood giant in the 2003 film Big Fish. Older or alternative terms used locally include simply "the fog" or sometimes "Big Mama", Seasonal Names: It is often associated with the terms "June Gloom" or "Fogust" due to its prevalence in the summer months.

Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
