I thought the same. One assumes they think the 80s format holds more nostalgic appeal and/or more appeal because of the popularity of the 8-bit aesthetic.What baffles me is why they keep going back to the Gen 1 floppy disk format. Why not something from the deluxe CD Rom games? Why not something from the junior games that had parts of the game show? I even played the Target-exclusive card game and aced it in the first round because it used the similar format.
