The day after I cancel my membership (because I wasn't watching), they cancel ODAAT. God was telling me something.
This show was never promoted well via Netflix, and a lot of us (if not all) only heard about it about two months ago when @Patty found it.

Netflix also doesn't share viewership data with their showrunners, making it harder for producers to analyze their own success. I see #saveODAAT and #LatinX trending though, so maybe the show will save itself.

Incidentally, I finished Who in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? last night. Definitely worth a read - it has lots of stuff not in the show, mostly small (like the names of the faculty's classes), but there's so much of it. We get proper introductions for Mime Bomb and Paper Star, which are my favorite parts.

I wrote a full review on Goodreads, if anyone's interested.

I read your review and you misspelled Jane the Virgin's leading star's last name...to me it's brilliant and a good background story about Carmen's younger years I wish they put that in the Netflix version of the show in the part two of Becoming Carmen Sandiego.

I hope some network picks it up, though, anybody has any updates?

I've just read one of the two new Carmen books, Clue by Clue, and am pleased to report it was a good publishing decision. Goodreads review:
Based on the description, I was expecting this to be an activity book, but actually it's a junior novel (well, at 128 pages of large print, "novel" is really a stretch even with the "junior" qualification). The code wheel embedded in the cover is nothing but a gimmick to make the book seem more interactive than it is, since the code is always solved within the text of the book, though there are bonus activities in the back, one of which involves using the code wheel.

That said, I thought the book was cute. It wasn't as well written nor as illuminating with regard to the cartoon as its predecessor, Who in the World Is Carmen Sandiego, but it does serve as a nice "lost episode," seemingly set just after "The Fishy Doubloon Caper," that even explains the origin of Carmen's eyepatch from her Duchess disguise. Actually, I wonder if this plot was meant to be an episode that was then cut, perhaps explaining why there were 9 episodes in season 1, rather than 10 as expected.

At any rate, it reminded me a bit of the Carmen Sandiego Mystery series I read as a kid. It makes me glad that for as mindlessly destructive as Houghton Mifflin Harcourt has been to the Carmen franchise, at least they know how to put out tie-in books.

I didn't find that and the Sticky Rice Caper in stores just yet and I agree with you,Jacqueline 'Clue by Clue' would've been the tenth episode of Netflix's Carmen Sandiego as 'The Pirate's Treasure Caper' and still waiting for the second season of the show no idea when it'll began.

Okay......even I have to admit I have warmed up to parts of the show on Netflix. I'm two favorites have definitely become Paper Star and Mime Bomb LOL but I still don't appreciate what they did to Ivy, Zack, or Chase. But yes, I'm warming up to it a little...... *embarrassed*

I learned something today.

In 1990, thirteen works of art were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston (which I'm visiting on Friday, hence why I was reading about it on Wikipedia). Among them was a Vermeer, The Concert.

My immediate thought: this means Countess Cleo couldn't possibly have stolen all 34 Vermeer paintings from their homes, as is stated in the show, as its whereabouts are unknown, and it may even have been destroyed. Kind of amazingly shoddy fact-checking on the part of the writers, no?

My second thought was that in-universe, the only explanation for this is that Countess Cleo knows who stole the paintings (or who bought the Vermeer from that person/syndicate). Or, less likely, that she herself was involved.
