It's not just the distance. Coming back in to the city after a holiday weekend is the worst. The last 30 miles takes around two hours with all the traffic, and 5 of the last 6 times I've made this trip there has been an accident because people are tired and on edge. I would much rather be off the road, safe, and relaxing with a drink. Which I am currently doing.))
(Just as I open up this tab and read about you driving the long weekend I hear the fire/EMS go screaming out towards the highway. No doubt a weekend warrior got too impatient. Good call with stopping.)
It was a time of reflection and consideration, both in the general and specific sense. I have decided it's time to move closer to home, and began applying for jobs. We will see what happens. How was yours?))
