It's not just the distance. Coming back in to the city after a holiday weekend is the worst. The last 30 miles takes around two hours with all the traffic, and 5 of the last 6 times I've made this trip there has been an accident because people are tired and on edge. I would much rather be off the road, safe, and relaxing with a drink. Which I am currently doing.))
(Just as I open up this tab and read about you driving the long weekend I hear the fire/EMS go screaming out towards the highway. No doubt a weekend warrior got too impatient. Good call with stopping.)
It was a time of reflection and consideration, both in the general and specific sense. I have decided it's time to move closer to home, and began applying for jobs. We will see what happens. How was yours?))
Update on the Louvre Robbery: there are four more being arrested today, unfortunately there's no trace of the jewels being found since October 19th according to BBC News.
You know, there was a question from one of my fb pages I follow that asked, if time travel were possible what event would you visit in history and change. My response was that I'd stop or make sure Hitler were never born. And then I began thinking about it. And thought....how would that change ACME? Would we still be Anerican and international? Would we still have The united nations and NATO?
