As a Disney stock holder, I don't care how many straws break backs. As someone who believes entertainment should serve the people, this worries me.

Oh, as a SW fan, I will probably not be watching Ep 9 in theaters as will a good chunk of long time fans

I think that's what El jefe is saying. Star Wars has become basically a toxic product

Would make sense. Disney's Star Wars has driven me back to Star Trek.

BTW, I just finished watching GoT finale. I actually liked it. It's kinda hard to write a TV show when you have a concrete story to work off of for the first five years and then have to jump off the end of the map for the last three years

Also, Star Wars is actively alienating their core fanbase

It is the textbook example of "get woke, go broke"

are there toxic fans out there? absolutely, they're in EVERY fandom

however, when you lump fans with valid complaints in with the toxic fans, you shouldn't be surprised when the fans abandon you

unfortunately, the "toxic" thought process is infecting everyday life more and more
