There is a place called The Unionville Tavern, which is not too far from my home back in Ohio, that was part of the Underground Railroad. Harriet Beacher Stowe stayed there one night, and the things that happened there on that night were at least partly responsible for inspiring her to write her book "Uncle Tom's Cabin." The Unionville Tavern has fallen into disrepair, but it has been declared a historic landmark, and people are trying very hard to save it!!
