My elementary school had a map of the US painted on the playground. My friends and I used to play a game where we had a pebble, said a state, and tossed the pebble to the state. If it landed, we got to move to it. The idea was to get from one coast to the other the fastest. We knew our states.))

(We had the same thing at my school but we would play take over the states)(
