I think the game that really made me realize how interactive the medium is was Spec Ops: The Line.

Oh, I almost forgot about 2016 Doom. That made me feel like a kid again.

i had to try a bit to get into lis too, but it was worth it. it's a really difficult game because it can feel queerbaity at times, and traps you into choosing a sad ending or a different sad ending (i don't think this is a spoiler at this point), but the characters are wonderful. and gay af.

But why only sad endings?

but honestly i liked the prequel, before the storm, even better. it's even more explicitly queer and more emotional without seeming manipulative.
