It's kind of a catch 22 - if we remove all of the sexiness and femininity then it's like saying we can't take her seriously unless she eschews all things typically seen as feminine (which purports harmful stereotypes), and on the other hand, the sexy and intelligent femme fetale is a misogynistic creation so...we are kind of stuck

Honestly, I think the subconscious fear of not being taken seriously for being womany delayed my acceptance of my gender

In conclusion, to look at a female character known for her intelligence, who has been used as a role model to keep girls interested in learning, and say that her looks are more important or more prominent than her smarts is inherently misogynistic and reductive, particularly coming off of several women talking about how her intelligence and personality inspired them, good night
