Reminds me of playing with liquid thermal dynamics. Like warming one of those freezer pops, enough to melt the frozen parts around it, but cool it at the same time. So it becomes liquefied.

Probably, but aircraft maintenance is notoriously stingy.

Anybody ever seen a tornado??

I saw one once, as a kid while I lived in the Midwest. Touched down at an airfield not far from where I lived. It sounded like a train.
