Sorry I'm not a good guesser as everyone else did,Chase (believe me I like you better than well the Netflix version of you but don't tell no one that I said to you.)
Don't apologize, Jade, submitting guesses is half the battle. Also what you said made my day, thanks for that.

Is that gem currently set in a famous jewellery collection (royal or otherwise)?
No. Not currently in any collection. Some museums display it singularly.

Could this possibly be an "emerald as there is a book called The emerald city of oz.
While yes, it's an emerald, I'm looking more specifically for its name. Because you guessed the type of gem correctly, I'll let you have priority.

You're welcome, Chase! And about the gem... All I know is that the emerald is part of the beryl family. So it's fair someone can figure this gem out because my guess is a beryl but I could be wrong you know. :(

It's the mogul mughal emerald isn't it? The book you were talking about is "the last mughal" i think.

Well...I don't feel too bad about missing this one...It seems we were ALL stumped. Lol. Still, I might just look it up again, to see if I can find that answer. ;)

Congratulations, Invader. :)

popularized by a Twitter account in 2010. It is named after the misunderstood giant in the 2003 film Big Fish. Older or alternative terms used locally include simply "the fog" or sometimes "Big Mama", Seasonal Names: It is often associated with the terms "June Gloom" or "Fogust" due to its prevalence in the summer months.

Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
