What did your character want to be when they were just a kid. (This can be in and/or out of character.)

IC: Lucy grew up always loving detective shows, and playing cops and robbers with her cousins. Always drawn to the Crime, Mystery, Suspense books. (Particularly Sherlock Holmes, but others too. Probably no surprise there.) She was also drawn to animals and thought maybe she could do something in that field. She was kind of stuck between the two.

This is going to sound generic, also because I seem to be the first male answering this question... but I wanted to be useful. I wanted to serve my country in either war or espionage, and get the satisfaction of knowing I've done my part as one of the 'good guys'.

But then I grew up and there are all these checkered choices and gray areas, it takes energy just to stay focused.

Longs list.
·At the age of Young Af (cant remember how young but I remember the small miniscule details of being a small toddler), I wanted to be a professor. Being a teacher was fine and all but somehow I knew professors got to get to stick their hands deeper into topics, if they were good.
·Ambassador/Spy (not so much anymore?)/[shrugging]. When you grow up with the world in chaos around you, you feel like you need to try to avoid all possible violence. Sometimes that can be achieved with coordination by both parties, sometimes in the past, espionage had to be used.
·Astronaut. As a kid, I was at the age where science agencies were pushing "you can be both a doer and a thinker" in so many kids programs, and the astronaut academy was a big dream.
·Archaeologist. This ambition taught me how to tell bone from plastic from ivory. It's kind of dieing for me now considering a lot are changing fields because of racist professors.
·Scientist at Area 51. Still an ambition, not gonna lie.
·Artist. Am one now and shall be one forever.
·Blood splatter analyst
·Any other career option is still being decided on, or I've prob forgotten
