In Character, Out of Character, it don't matter. What are you thankful for?

Zack is thankful for V.I.L.E. because without them, we would be out of job. He's also glad Carmen is out there to give the world a challenge, 'cause it could always be some other terrible supervillian.

(OOC: And as cheesy as it sounds, I'm thankful for all you guys who share good stories with me. Some of you who I knew for years, some who are we're just gettin' to know each other, and some who came back after a long absence away.)

Hello Zack. That's a great question. Here's my list:

I always try to always remember to be thankful that I live in a country where we have so many freedoms, because without that, nothing else would matter very much.

I am thankful I'm from such a beautiful area of Northeast Ohio, where we have easy access to other towns and cities that have everything we need, but also is rural enough that it's not crowded, so that we can have pets like horses, and many, many cats. I am thankful that the weather is good right now, and that I made it home safely, so that I could spend this holiday with family and friends and family.

I am thankful for my great family who have always been so supportive of me in everything that I do. I'm thankful for my friends, most of whom I've known most of my life, and some that I have only known a few years.

I am thankful for all my friends that I have met during my time at ACME, both at the New York office, where I spent a few years, and everyone that I have met since I have returned to headquarters in San Francisco, which is of course, the original "home base" of every ACME agent!!

And, yes, I'm thankful for Carmen Sandiego, and all our VILE friends. They are all very moral...despite their thieving ways...because they follow her example. We have a very special relationship with our VILE friends, and even though our ultimate goal is to find, and arrest ALL of them...especially Carmen...and make them answer for all their crimes...the fact the we are always on The Chase is fun, too. Even if it is tiring at times!!

So I look forward to more fun with all my ACME and VILE friends in the New Year. :)

Ivy is currently thankful for her crazy little brother, who always manages to make her smile.

(This was sweet, thank you for posting another question.)

I'm thankful for my great family of thieves at VILE.
I'm especially thankful for Carmen bringing me into this family.
I'm also thankful for the honourable do-gooders at ACME who keep our job fun.

(OOC: I'm with Dan and Josh. Really thankful for the great writers and friends)

I am thankful.

I am thankful for
The chance meeting, coloured text,
Tears and laughter, you.

You, the friend and scribe,
The bold adventurer, you
My fond accomplice.

I am thankful.

/OOC

Sophie is thankful for ACME, the Director of Operations, her Chief of Staff, and all the marvellous ACME Detectives she has the privilege of taking care of—though some might cause her greater grief than others, but those she loves the most.

She is thankful for Ivy Monaghan, who took the liberty of telling her where to get the best food in the neighbourhood.

She is thankful for Zachary Monaghan, who frequently appears with some sort of amusement or other to brighten her day, be it in the form of food, an idea, or an injury.

She is thankful for Nevon Blair, who is always willing to offer a helping hand with any random logistical conundrum at any hour or any day.

She is thankful for Eugene Grovington, who has never failed to get her a flight in or out and peaceably tolerates her suspicious glances at his self-propagating bottles of rum.

She is thankful for Lee Jordan, who has proven an invaluable asset on and off the surf.

And… While not everyone is listed above, it is by no means a reflection of absent/present gratitude or importance. Each and everyone of you has been a joy to associate with, in one way or another. Thank you.

Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
