Does this European forest have a lake as well?
It does not have a lake, no.

Does the name of the country the forest is in have an e in it?
In the local language, yes, there is an 'e' in the name, but no 'e' exists in the current English name.

Does this forest have any relation to a well known book?
As far as I know, it is not in any book. It was in few television documentaries, maybe.

Clue so far: a forest in Europe just north of the Equator with a nearby town border by the sea...no lake, has an'e' in the name but never exists in the current English name not in a book but maybe in few TV documentaries.

Is it the Kovalevsky Forest near St. Petersburg,Russia?

Is the forest a national park?
The forest is not a certified national park, but it's famous among locals and is a persistent tourist attraction.

'Kovalevsky' has an 'e', right? To clarify, the name of the forest has no 'e' unless it is in the local language. This means the local language has to be Latinized, so you can rule out the Russian Cyrillic.

You're all very close, keep going.

Okay the clue so far: a forest in Europe just north of the Equator within a nearby town border by the sea...no lake, has an 'e' in the name except it has to Latinized and not certified as a national park...You said 'You're all very close, keep going.' To me I'm not very close...So therefore I'll let someone get the right forest because I'm just stump as a tree.

Yesterday, while watching a streamer, I learned something cool about the Eiffel Tower. The 72 names engraved on the Eiffel Tower belong to French scientists, engineers, and mathematicians who supported the building process. These golden letters are located on the first level (the lowest platform) of the tower, just beneath the balcony that runs around the structure.
