How can you tell an animal will respond to chemo? Some may- while some won’t - animals aren’t people))

Declawing seems like something a pet owner does because they have expensive furniture and don't want to deal with the cat.))

I agree - if an animal is suffering don’t try chemo- euthanizing would end the suffering not prolonging it))
I mean, if chemo will extend the animal's life by putting the cancer in remission, I'm in favor of it. It's a gamble that it will shorten rather than prolong the suffering, but it is with humans as well.

I mean, I get why it's appealing. My cat scratched my skin up something awful when I was younger. I still have one scar from her! But as @Pitya Ivyr said, it's essentially amputating the cat's digits, and screws up their physical perceptions as well. It's not fair to the cat. If it's rambunctious enough that the scratches (whether on humans or on furniture) are an issue, it needs better training and/or a scratching post.

Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)

As if they were friends, Lucy, Barbie is created on March 9, 1959, for Mattel, while Carmen is created on March 1, 1985, for Broderbund Software.

However, I've found it something with a software company called SoftKey International in which they did trade name the Learning Company after taking it over in 1995 and made a worst deal with Mattel in 1999.
