Trauma is a bit like cancer, that way. People think that's because it's referred to by that one label that it's all cut-and-dry with mostly similar properties, with one cure that will fix everyone who's going through it. They don't realize that it actually refers to a broad spectrum of ever-shifting sands, that can give way the moment you think you have your footing. And while it's true that some types share similar traits, every case is unique to the person and circumstances under which it took hold.))
