That makes sense. I do not know much about young children, and if we are being honest I really do not care to know much, but I do know that is is human nature to model the behavior of our elders. If that is how one is being raised, it is only natural that they would exhibit more mature behavior.

I have 2 cat 10 dogs so I agree cats are easier to care for

(@Invader I find cats are preferable to most human company. I would add the disclosure of "excepting you all, of course" but I think the aspect of what we face in our day-to-day lives is implied)

(That is a gift, @Charlet. There is a purity and wholesomeness to children that many adults tend to overlook or dismiss, and if you can come across as a safe person to talk to, who will listen to them and validate their feelings, that will make it easier for them to open up)
