likewise mange is used with je/il/elle/on, while manges is used with tu. "je mange" = i eat; "tu manges" = you eat.

"un" for masculine nouns ("un homme"), "une" for feminine nouns ("une femme")

Is it like Spanish where you can just look at the last letter of the word it's before and tell whether it's feminine or macular?

it's not foolproof, but usually feminine nouns end in E and masculine nouns end in a consonant

but there are exceptions - "un homme" as above, or "une main"

Okay I'm also having trouble between mange and manges
