But my annie book I own. She finds herself in a small mining town where a gang is stealing all the gold from the mine

She and sandy have to solve the mystery and save the town. Also daddy warbucks was fighting in ww2.

Annie escaped the mansion to fight in the war with him. That's basically the book.

It's dated 1945

But annie is basically fighting these criminals with her bare hands in these books and comics. Like if you touch me your innards will be outside your body.

I also listen to the little orphan Annie radio show.

She's very feisty, solving mysteries, breaking into places she shouldn't be and out smarting the adults,
