Why the Ferrari looks a bit orange in some settingsThe Ferrari's paint and sponsor logos are topped with a matte clear coat as the final layer. Matte clears are made up of small particles that are a semi-opaque whitish color suspended in a clear binding agent. Because of the particles needed to achieve the finish, matte clears are not as "clear" as a gloss equivalent. The particles refract some light and and block some wavelengths of light, changing the look of the underlying color slightly. This is why the problem is not solely due to camera equipment or photo editing settings.
