I never took well to mines either. But Paris has had less of them since all those terrorist attacks.

Used to be a few hanging around place de vosges every time I visited.

But also, the French are getting richer. Less need for street performers.

And getting a license is economically not as viable.

Italy, though... If you ever want to be bothered by mimes... pick any major Italian city.
