I was taught in one of my earliest poli sci courses that people tend to seek out the most comfortable chair. I was working at a kidngergarten at the time and spent a lot of time sitting criss-cross on the floor. But, on the other hand the same poli sci professor started every class by putting the Druge Report on the overhead

Same thing happened with my intro to philosophy professor. you know the drill: plato, socrates, degas, hartman....then he showed an episode of the Simpsons about genetic plant enginneering.

looked him up later, saw he was in charge of a chapter of PETA

I'm sure that's why decision-making for groups of people should never be left to one person.
