I meant as a child, Priestess, I never saw cartoons as a child.

It was SO dark. I didn't watch it as a kid. Not that I was explicitly prohibited from doing so - we just didn't get the network - but I was aware of it and watched maybe an ep or two. I saw the whole series for the first time about ten years ago. I don't think I would have allowed my kids to watch it - at least not without a trusted adult who could explain things.))

my parents were star trek fans so i saw tng as a kiddo (ironic, considering the aforementioned ban on violence) and one of my friends is really into it
