Alrighty- 1. the dairy Research center does work on group housing calves as well as pain studies on dehorning. 2. Anhedonia studies show that calves will use a mechanical brushes to decrease the stress. 3. The Goat dairy has a robot feeder- which in turn runs day and night and feeds or pushes feed up in goat pens, and thus helps the owner to have more time to take care of the goats. 4. the goat dairy has a rotary parlor and can milk 40 goats at a time - they have 1100 goats approximately and they milk about 550 a day. they are milked 2x a day and also goats milk is very sweet- though warm it brings out the flavor more than drinking it cold.))
