groing up on a bi generational home you learn many things it's almost like learning two different cultures even though you speak the same language one is for the here and now and the other one was how you were raised and your perspective on the inside.
@Jacqueline Hyde, aside from the obvious common ones that we use on the forum, I can speak some native African languages and Arabic. I've somewhat recently learned Greek.))
@Jacqueline Hyde, I'm much better with French, then Italian and Spanish, in that order. I've been trying to get Chase to teach me more German but he's actually quite bad at written German in general.))
I learned Arabic because an archivist friend in the UAE showed me a book called "The Perfumed Garden" and it (by no small measure) is the only 'religious' erotic text written in Islam.))
(Chase has the talent of speaking better than writing, I'm sure he gets by as a child might: 'parrotting' others until he has the necessary cache of words and grammar to memory)
Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
