I have no real opinion either way. The Home Secretary decided on revoking her citizenship. Some things in life, you only get one shot -- exactly what Euge said.

I mean .you both have a point- my ethical stance just happens to be a bit more... open-minded. Though stern. I still think she deserves a chance at citizenship. she was young and made a mistake.

It's weird, though, that it would be revoked now, when she wants to return. And not revoked when she left the country 4 years ago.

It was probably a case of out of sight, out of mind.

If the UK had revoked the citizenship for the reason that she went to join IS, then that seems more like protocol. Revoking it now just seems petty.
