Yes some adaptations are better than others, I have seen some really good ones too.

It was like he wasn’t even acting

Like the one for the short story Duel, that was a very good adaptation.

I hardly read books. I prefer movies and tv

A lot of people want an adaptation of Isaac Asimov's Foundation series but You Know Hollywood's Gonna Mess That Up If In The Wrong Hands
