There has to be, I don't think they'd use CRISPR in this way without doing something. But I guess we'll have to see.

We should have asked Patty's take while she was on.

Did she say she had a job lined up with a CRISPR thing in CA? Might be interesting.

 

[Morgan]

CRISPR is quite an investment sector. And it's likely our most ethically challenging yet.

 

[Chase]

But considering what's going to happen this year and the next... we might be looking back at this in 20 years and wonder what we were worried about.

 

[Eugene]

Or looking back and and saying 'this is when the genie was let out'

I can agree both ways, it's quite a divergent path. And I'm uncertain that we're able to handle its consequences as of yet.

 

[Chase]

Some of us in present day are still living in the middle ages.

 

[Eugene]

We're going to have to figure it out, because it's not going to wait for us to craft a perfect solution.

 

[Eugene]

Same as the rapidly advancing front of unmanned vehicles.

And space vacations.
