Reboots are always strange. Addams family lost a lot of plot and backstory because of reboots. Uncle fester is not suppose to be an Addams. He is mortica’s great uncle in the comics and orignal show.

Similar to how pugsley. Seems to switch from big brother to little brother depending on who writes the story

if They do reboots at least know all their facts and stay close to the orignal as possiable

or make orignal charaters to add to that world

like it being about the next generation and allow some characters to grow up and have kids

Sadly only fan fictions take that approach

That's not how Hollywood works nowadays. Why spend more time, money, and effort making something new when you can just co-op a popular IP with your agenda and bash the fans when they call you out on your stupidity
