(Totally illegal in my state, we can sell the small five pound ones when full, but we cant take empty tanks back)

What's the proper thing to do with these tanks, I take it there's a place that properly disposes of them?

(There are disposal places yes, but I did not like being semi paranoid about finding them)

My state has to take the tanks back or else people do stupid things.. Yes theres groups that take them
