I had a person come through my branch once who thought they would be able to get on a plane with expired ID. First and only time I've laughed derisively at a customer to their face.))
i haven't heard that but you're much better connected than i to governmenty things. it wouldn't surprise me, and again, would make a certain amount of sense.
My question though, is since the burden of proof for obtaining a passport and a REAL compliant ID is the same, why not enable REAL to act as a passport, or simply add a driver's license endorsement to a passport and admit they're the same?
