Who were the techies again? My Win10 won't shut down all the way. I go to the start menu and click power off and it goes into sleep mode. I went into the CMD and ran as administrator and typed in powercfg -h off. That didn't work so....
I went into settings/ power/ all that and turned off all power saving things. In the tall manager it says it's been on over 14 days. The only way I can get it to turn completely off now is closing the lid off the laptop. Why doesn't the power off work from the start menu and only put it in sleep mode?
I finally did what I said I would do for a year and a half, and started another playthrough of Witcher 3. By my light and soul, that game is gorgeous. I can't think of another one that looks better.))
It's been gradually slowing for years... the theory has to do with the aging of the galaxy... it's not that we build tall stuff or heavy stuff (those have no impact on that).
What would the movie night thing take to do? Is there a way to limit it to members only (on here), or would any glance at chat give away the whole thing?
My big tower can handle the processing, no problem (Threadripper 3950X 24-core (48 counting hyperthreads), 128gigs RAM, a Titan X 12gig video card, 8 harddrives)
Update on the Louvre Robbery: there are four more being arrested today, unfortunately there's no trace of the jewels being found since October 19th according to BBC News.
