The 9th inning was fierce both teams were determined to come out on top but VILE failed to get more runs after loading the bases. First up to bat was Ivy who managed to get to second, next up was Zack who hit a line drive getting him to second and Ivy to third. A bunt from Josha put him on first, then Tenchi came up to bat and Double readied for the final showdown with his rival. The air was calm and a hush fell over the stadium, Double knew it was all or nothing now. He winded up and threw the pitch as it sailed in Tenchi swung his bat and connected with it. It flew into the stands for a Grand Slam! The crowd roared and fireworks went off as ACME managed to win in spectacular fashion!

Though the game was over there was someone who wanted to bat still. Tenchi waited for her to get ready...
