That is an interesting question. Thankfully, San Francisco has a LOT of places to choose from. But when it comes to first dates it depends on what you want to do.
Cali and mine's first date ended up being a "crawl" through the Ferry Building off of The Embarcadero. There were plenty of places to stop in for a quick bite or drink. There's also Spark Social in Mission Bay if she has a pooch that she might want to bring. The Civic Kitchen is also a fun time - I've been meaning to suggest it to the flyboy for him and Ivy (It might wean her away from praying to the takeout gods). There's also Golden Gate Park, Treasure Island, Fisherman's Wharf...
Basically, find out what she would like to do. More than likely you'll be able to find something.
Well, my father was a history professor and he was my first hero, so I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Growing up, I learned that history is the greatest teacher of all, everything that has happened will happen again. I also believe that trying to "pretty up" history - i.e. removing statues because they're "problematic" or "offensive" - is a greater crime than anything Carmen could steal.
Also, I was a very big fan of Indiana Jones growing up.
Dad was a history professor at Hofstra University (a local college) and would actually bring me to class with him sometimes before I was in elementary school. He was very outgoing and his students loved him. To me, he was a typical Dad- playing catch in the backyard, watching sports. He was also very big - I get my size from my dad's side of the family. It sucked seeing him waste away from illness when I was only seven, kinda like watching Superman die.
To this day, I still think my Mom was a secret superhero. She was a clerk and researcher for the Nassau County District attorney's office. Even though she worked long hours, she still made it to all my extracurricular stuff (little league, peewee football). When Dad got sick, I could see it was hard on her but she tried not to show it. She kept things from being worse for me by trying to keep things as normal as possible. In fact, she died about a year after Dad in of all things a traffic accident trying to get to my school for a school play like a normal parent.
That is one of my few regrets in life, not getting more time with both of them.
I've also found that the two thieves were leaving for Algeria, thanks of a trace of DNA evidence recovered from a helmet and their past in burglary cases according to the police.
It's been gradually slowing for years... the theory has to do with the aging of the galaxy... it's not that we build tall stuff or heavy stuff (those have no impact on that).
What would the movie night thing take to do? Is there a way to limit it to members only (on here), or would any glance at chat give away the whole thing?
My big tower can handle the processing, no problem (Threadripper 3950X 24-core (48 counting hyperthreads), 128gigs RAM, a Titan X 12gig video card, 8 harddrives)
