Who was the first person Chase ever killed?
What was Chase's reaction to the incident?
Brought out of old notes for the sake of this AMA question:

A recruiter befriended me during OCS, and kept the relationship going -- talked about how after I finished school, we'd be doing grand things together. I was blindly sold on the idea.

Sure, save the world, snub some baddies, I could do that.

First mission, I was in a team with @Mikal's eldest brother, Ashraq. Our target recently contacted an embassy, offering papers in exchange for cash. I didn't know the details, that wasn't my job. The man was betraying his country, and our objective was to get him back home for 'interrogations.'

Long story short: We moved the target out of a hotel in Pakistan and put him into a car then onto a plane.

Plane ride, heading to London, we gave him a shot of sodium thiopental to keep him down. An hour into it, Ashraq nudged me and said: "I think he is dead."

Turns out, Target had a temporary condition we weren't aware of, and took medication that wasn't entirely compatible with thiobarbital.

Bummer.

There wasn't an easy route out, but I knew we would be flying over the Black Sea soon... and a water dump was probable.

So after some debate with Ashraq and an Indian pilot named Ram, we decided it was mission-critical to get rid of the body.

As the pilot made a pass over the Black Sea, we slid open the door and casually dropped the target. We couldn't fly too low because NATO usually had ships in the area for exercise. With the sound of the propellers and engines, I heard nothing else. Didn't even see a splash.

Five hours and forty-one minutes later, we landed in London, checked in with Command, and were commended for dealing well with unpredictability. End of story.

As for how I felt... it was work, business. Sometimes you do what you have to for the sake of the mission, and while you're in that mentality, it's hard to justify emotional normalcy.

My body felt differently, though.

Ashraq and I went out to grab a bite, and I couldn't eat. Then I went into the restroom and vomited. The acid in your stomach, I learned, acts up like that during extremely tense situations. Doesn't matter if your head felt nothing.

Do you have a preferred type of fishing (i.e. freshwater, saltwater, etc.)?
Unlike many things in life, I do not selectively fish. But because I have a boat docked in the bay, it's been mostly saltwater fishing.

I like the waiting and preparation before the actual catch.

So in that aspect, I guess I also like 'fishing' for random financial officers and possible bookkeepers from enemy organizations.

I'm not sure where this fixation on finances and bookkeepers came from. You're seeing things that aren't there. Maybe you and @Eugene should take a nice, long fishing trip together and forget all about it.

@Tenchi Masaki Out of curiosity, do you know if it's worth it to rent out GPU/CPU time on a rig like mine... Threadripper 3960X with a Titan X, 32Gigs RAM (for now... hope for more RAM someday)

Hey @Tenchi Masaki btw I did save my password after my last bout of computer trouble. This time however I saved the wrong password so. As for Jon Eckart, I DO use Chrome browser the problem is when we I get on another computer the passwords aren't stored. That's my current problem. So I'm either gonna make a new account or figure something out 'cause I'm not bothering boss man :D :D

Google Drive: Sign-in <-- the appeal hearing (they didn't know I was recording) (I'll run it through some filters and see if I can clean it up) They/we have a tour of a potential place Thrusday at 1PM-ish like a block away... but there's no laundry (far as I know)... you can find it, 512 1/2 St. Germain St., St. Cloud Little tidbits... I brought up that if they're going after the folks, what about the (roughly) half of the rest of the bulding who all smoke in the building. ))

Moving stuff in is gonna be a struggle (wall outside main door is like a 60-degree angle)... big desk (mine), big entertainment center (the folks), "things" are gonna be weird (no privacy). The folks want it (gas stove in an apartment, claw-foot bathtub)... not all of our stuff comes apart nicely))
