I think despite the marketing spin it's not actually a game, but an interactive episode - which is how it was originally described - like Netflix commissioned for Black Mirror.

As for season 3, it's probably forthcoming. This is the last of the 20 episodes Netflix commissioned to begin with.

That's basically exactly what Bandersnatch is, so I'm assuming this is the same.

Carmen Sandiego Returns. It required a particular Intel webcam, and if I recall correctly required Windows 8 when Windows 7 was still the standard. There was a mobile game of the same name, but it was completely different (and even had different voice actors - I'm pretty sure it reused Cristina Vee's voice as Carmen from the Facebook game).
