    Yesterday, while watching a streamer, I learned something cool about the Eiffel Tower. The 72 names engraved on the Eiffel Tower belong to French scientists, engineers, and mathematicians who supported the building process. These golden letters are located on the first level (the lowest platform) of the tower, just beneath the balcony that runs around the structure.

    Other things I learned about it: The stairs only go up to the 2nd floor. After that you have to take an elevator. The original spiral staircase was sold for scrap.

It stems from imperial modes of thinking that harm people not white-cis-straight-abled-perisex-etc because the idea of normal is centred on "some guy"-isms
