I just watched an episode of Queer Eye on Netflix and two friends of the person they were making over were named Carmen and Chase. This brings me joy. ))

I have a cousin named Carmen; I'm one of those people where when I hear a name that a family member has it sticks out. There was a kid named Chase in a class I used to teach, and I'm sure I've met others, but he's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.))

so I live in an area where the name carmen and the name chase are both incredibly common and at one point there was one carmen and one chase in my class. one time we were called in line order in groups of two, so carmen and I were both called. the teacher blanked for a moment because my name is incredibly similar to miranda and teach was like "... Carmen Miranda. I just realized that."

@Claire Yeon, You must be seriously observant. I haven't come across either names IRL outside the context of Carmen Sandiego.
I have an Aunt Carmen. There's also Carmen Miranda, Carmen from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and a Wilson Phillips song called Goodbye Carmen. I had a classmate in middle school named Chase, but other than him and Chase Devineaux, never heard of it as a given name.

popularized by a Twitter account in 2010. It is named after the misunderstood giant in the 2003 film Big Fish. Older or alternative terms used locally include simply "the fog" or sometimes "Big Mama", Seasonal Names: It is often associated with the terms "June Gloom" or "Fogust" due to its prevalence in the summer months.

Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
