In other news, I really want to love Stratolaunch, but they're so rudderless right now.

Is this something that just happened?

Oh hey... you're right, no rudders.

They can't seem to settle on a path forward for their second stage. "We're partnering with SpaceX. No we aren't. We'll launch Lockheed rockets. No, we'll develop something in house. Now we want to go with Boeing. Take us back please, SpaceX."

Sounds like the kind of confusion that happens just before a bad licensing decision.

No, it's coming. Likely from Virgin Galactic first. SpaceX or some other upstart next.

But Stratolaunch is putting themselves way behind in this new space race.

I don't know why I'm not as excited to invest in this sector.

*shrugs* The generally sluggish pace of new aerospace developments coming to market?

 

[Chase]

It's not a platform sector, I feel... It's something that can risk actual lives... like investing in luxury yachts.
