i enjoy it, but as v says, the infodumps were not a good look. rewatching woeics afterward and seeing how well they integrated the education really brought home how poorly the new series handled it.

Maelstrom, Sara Bellum, and Cookie Booker aren't too bad, but the rest are almost caricatures

eh, i just consider the new devineaux, julia, ivy, and zack to be separate characters who share their names with the previous characters. i like them all as characters, even though it was disappointing after my hopes got up for ~my~ zack and ivy to appear.

All of the above said, it's not bad at all. We're just being overly critical with unreasonably high expectations and a heaping of nostalgia.

i'd say it's not as good as woeics s1-2 but better than s3
