A day of joy
I own myself here, this is a work of fiction.
MORNING
It is a brilliant and beautiful morning and invader has gotten up extra early to greet the rising sun. There is a certain majesty to watching the sun come up over the city , just watching it slowly rise and fill the world with the color of morning that delights her. Ever so slowly the colors of morning stream into the city, as if it were some sort of symphony orchestra that has been conducted sense the beginning of time. She loves watching the waves in the distance dance with the first light of morning upon them. Waves prance about as if they were horses turned out to pasture , and they are filled with the joy of another morning full of frolicking. Inside invader can feel herself frolicking with them, dancing about with joy that pours from her like a hidden spring bubbling up from the earth. She smiles basking in the glory of the sunrise , and embracing its warmth as the first rays touch her.
Once the sunrise is done she retreats inside laughing softly all the way, she fells as if she were waltzing on air. Lightly she walks inside as not to disturb the others, but humming inwardly with all the magic of the sunrise. Deep within her heart is singing a song of magic, and wonder that echos throughout her soul. The music within has no words nor need for them, she trembles with joy that can hardly be contained. All the way back to her room her feet dance to a song only she can hear. It is exhilarating to feel like this , and invader fells as if she has been born anew. The magic of the sunrise has done it's work upon her, and she embraces the enchantment with reckless abandon.
AFTERNOON
Later on she wanders outside to the garden area and spends time there taming the dragonflies that fly over the nearby pond. She has gotten them to come and sit with her as she walks about. They have become so used to her presence that she can get them to sit on her hand by merely holding it out. Eventually she can relax and curl her fingers, and the dragon flies in turn relax with her, as if they can read each others thoughts. Some of them even fall asleep and she dare not speak a word lest she breaks the enchantment. Wandering about she is greeted by other insects that dance about her , as if they have known her for forever. Timid butterflies dance close but not to close to her, till one eventually lights upon her hand and goes still. Invader address it as if it were a friend, and the butterfly allows invader to pose it 's wings any way she wishes. Eventually word is given that releases the butterfly from its present state and it takes off dancing about wildly. Laughing invader watches it till it is far out of sight , and continues on her walk only to pause on a bench amidst flowers. She has a great fondness for the wild ones and is delighted to find a single one amidst a bare bit of ground. She touches it and hopes it will grow to be a great flower some day.
During the late afternoon, some birds settle into the trees at the park and invader whistles to them hoping for a response. A single whistle answers and there is a flurry of wings as the bird approaches her location and calls again. Invader answers them , then hears a different call and two young bird voices are herd. Looking upward she notices that they are purple martins, and she calls to the two young fledgelings. The older of the two calls back to her in a happy tone, the younger one fallows suit and they catch sight of her. Before long the mother bird and her two young ones are dancing about her, and they are singing along with invader. They from a quartet of song that is accompanied by sunlight that flickers through the trees, soon a warbler of some sort disrupts them with a shrill call. Invader answers them as if to say " join in , and add to the harmony". The five voices soon are all singing together in a song without words , that seems to brighten the world around them for a moment of eternity.
Twilight
It is evening and the last light of the sunset have yet to depart, announcing the nightfall that is soon to come. The clouds above are covered in an iridescence rainbow of color that is constantly shifting. Inside she watches the show of light and clouds that constantly change more gracefully that any dancer in the world. Distant planets can been seen as dim stars that sit just above the horizon. Invader imagines that she is back in her home world waiting for the twin moons to arise. The majesty of the twilight holds her in awe, and she watches till the sun goes down. Turning away from the window she settles in for the night and goes to sleep dreaming of sailing on the clouds.
NIGHTFALL
It is the middle of the night and moonlight streams in casting everything in a silver glow. All the shadows are made into shimmering pools of sliver that dance as faint waifs of clouds pass by. Invader is journeying to her home world though dreams, and she is happy to be returning there briefly. Upon arrival she is in time for the annual moon festival in the town of sky dawn , and she is invited to join in on the new moon dance. She dances with them till the first light of morning that summers her back to where she is residing. Bowing she bids the inhabitants farewell and promises to return soon.
The End.
