Signature weapons? Favourite gun? Does your character prefer to use their brain instead of their brawn?

Let's know what your character's weapon of choice is when a situation gets rough.

Hello everyone. What an interesting question, Zack. Well...when my mutant powers fail me...which thankfully, is not often...I fall back on the fighting skills I learned when I became part of a gang of thieves and pickpockets as an orphan child growing up on the streets of Cairo. Yes...at one time, I was the kind of person that all of you...my new friends at ACME...might have arrested. ;) I am also good with handguns and knives, which I have used before...but in self-defense only.

But eventually, I met and joined the X-Men, and it changed my life for the better. It gave me a greater purpose, a way to use my natural gifts, and people that I consider family.

I still practice my fighting skills whenever I am able to...but now..it's just for fun...and good physical fitness. ;)

Well...I like to think my intelligence is my best asset. It's amazing to me how I can remember many different obscure facts that I have learned many years ago...and how helpful these things are in the this job. But my short-term memory is not as good...so I have to take extensive notes, to learn and remember things. So I can learn things quickly, if I need to, and adapt to many situations.

I have never had any formal lessons in any kind of fighting or self-defense, but I'm not afraid to try to learn. I may not seem very big, or athletic, but I am not weak, either. And I certainly do have that "fighting spirit" at times, which I blame on my inner Irishness. ;)

But, looking @Ororo Munroe's comment, I think that maybe the next time I am in fight, I will just call her instead. Hahahaha. :)

Hello Julie. I will be happy to help you whenever I am able, in any way that you need. But if you really do have that "fighting spirit" which you attribute to your "inner Irishness" then you probably do not need my help. You are obviously very resourceful. ;)

Nace's weapons of choice are a 9mm Browning HiPower pistol and a Bulgarian Makarov pistol for a secondary pistol. As far as rifles are concerned he has a .303 No. 4 Enfield Rifle which he retains an affinity for owing to the fact that he was taught to fire heavy barreled .303 caliber rifles from boyhood. As far as more modern rifles are concerned he has a semi-automatic Saiga .308, customized with a pistol grip and 3-9x variable power telescopic sights.

I have this pen I really like... tactical pen, not necessarily a weapon. It has a magnesium alloy body, razor-sharp iridium nib, and can withstand force of up to 750 PSI. It's lethal in the right hands... and performs great with Midnight Black ferro ink.

Ennai would rather avoid fighting, despite the rush she gets from it. She's aware that anything can happen in a fight and that they're best avoided. Despite relying predominantly on analysis and short term strategy to get by and avoid conflict, Ennai tends to be reactive. She finds long term plans good in a broader sense, but foolish to cling to strictly due to the probability of unforseen variables. Preparation and planning is the key to her success in basically staying alive at all, but so is not betting on the surety of anything.

Ennai really likes knives, but often prefers guns in more volitile environments, because a knife doesn't beat a quick draw. She was once really fond of the practicality of sniper rifles, at a much, much younger age. The thought of them now fills her with an overwhelming sense of nausea. If it comes to a fight, Ennai will strongly try to adhere to hand-to-hand combat unless backed into a corner.

I can imagine her and the Retro-version of Nace having quite the discussion on this subject.

((So... the latest is that the woman who reported the folks to the police, called the guy who handled the appeal (after we left the room) and told him that if he doesn't make sure to get the folks out of the building, she'd make things difficult for him. The property manager told ma a few days ago, and ma told me today. So, anyone know what that would be called? Coercing, bribery, influence peddling? Would that invalidate the eviction? This is Section 8 housing, so low-income housing. The appeal decision should in theory get here next week or maybe Friday, and they can appeal again, maybe this one would be in real court... don't know. I will advise the folks contact legal aid and see what they say.))

((Correction: the parents are caving, they are planning for the move ON January 1st, without waiting to hear what the appeal decision is, and not willing to fight it. I stormed out of their place tonight (punched the call button for the elevator... they may have heard it), because I know they could win the second appeal hands down (they don't want "more of the stress from all this", they would discuss shit when I went to the bathroom tonight). I reminded them they may not get the entertainment center through the door to the apartment, we probably will have to take the claw legs off the table for the first time ever, but they have their heart set on it. ))

They're set on a two bedroom apartment ($154 more than the current, at least), it's up to me if I want to move, they said. Once we leave this place (section 8/low-income housing, the waiting list is over 2 years), that's it... the building manager retires later 2025... she pulled a string to get me in here))

Did you know.....The original candy canes were straight sugar sticks that were often used to decorate Christmas trees. The first historical reference to the cane shape was in 1670, when the choirmaster at Cologne Cathedral in Germany bent the sugar sticks into the shape of a shepherd's staff. Candy canes remained white until the early 20th century when red stripes and peppermint flavor became popular.
