Seven Days

Describe a week in the life of your character. You may do this IC or OOC, interview-style or prose or time-stamped, utilise tables or HRs or bullets, etc.

Please provide as many details as possible--who they hang out with, where they dine or shop, why their schedule is like it is, when (exactly?) they do what they do, how they move from one daily event to another... You know we all love reading those!

Edited to Add:
Coincidentally, this is the seventh Q&A for Character Building.

Random weekly schedule, starting at 8:00 AM (since anything before 8 is answered in the 'Morning Routine' question.)

After work on Mondays, I visit the lightly populated beach to relax. On Wednesdays and Fridays, I spend some time alone at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum & Planetarium across the bay.

On the weekend, I usually sleep in until noon and eat a relaxed brunch. I may volunteer at the museum on Saturdays to share my passion with its patrons.

I usually eat lunch and dinner at various ethnic restaurants, but on Saturdays, I have supper with my family in San Jose. After 9, I usually spend time with a book and a bottle of wine, or on Friday and Saturday nights, I might visit a club for a dose of social interaction.

So you want to know what a week in the life of a VILE agent is like eh?

Well, it really depends on the circumstances. Unlike my ACME 'friends', I don't maintain a rigid schedule; I prefer to have a fairly flexible and open schedule.

The closest I come to a weekly schedule really depends on the circumstances of the week.

Circumstance #1: No current VILE mission
When no specific assignment has been given, VILE agents like myself are given free reign to operate on our own. Personally, I have a side gig as a security consultant so if I'm not on a mission, I would spend two of three days of the week on my side gig.

This usually involves taking on clients and flying out to meet them, evaluating their security/concerns and offering a professional opinion based on my evaluation. I never steal anything from my clients during this job though if I personally test their systems, I would leave a calling card to show them that I could have taken something if I wanted to.

In the past, when HQ was in Antarctica, I would usually spend the next two days or so in a country of my choice, either catching up with old friends or just mingling with the locals and making friends/contacts.
Then I would spend the last two days of the week flying back to HQ and catching up on things. While in HQ I would also take the time to bond with my VILE Familia.

With Stone Harbour however, I feel that it is only right that everyone does their part to help keep the 'public facade' aspect of it running. So I will usually spend the rest of the week back in Stone Harbour, doing my part to help run both sides of the operation.

On rare occasions, when I really feel like taking time off, I'll just take a day off and fly to a country of my choice. I would then spend the day just resting and maybe catching up on my reading.

Circumstance #2: Prepping for a mission
If I have received my orders/task for the next mission, then the majority of the week is spend on prepping for said mission. This usually involves one or both of the following activities:

i) Training, Equipping, Rehearsing
Every job has its challenges and so whenever I'm issued with a new task, if I have the luxury of doing so, I like training with the henchmen in the week leading up to the job. This involves not just physical workouts but also skill set training for the mission - climbing, diving, whatever the mission calls for, etc.
I would also spend time going through my tools and making sure I have picked out/obtained the equipment most suited to the job.
Lastly, and this is a luxury, being able to rehearse certain aspects of the heist really does help; think of it as a full dress rehearsal. It helps iron out any kinks in the plan and point out potential flaws/plan Bs.

ii) Scouting
Leading up to the job, I usually would like to arrive in the destination a little early and scout not just the location but the local atmosphere and culture if possible.
I would like to mingle with the locals, establish some local contacts or call upon whatever local contacts I have for information. While scouting, I usually stay in the VILE Safehouse nearest to the location of the upcoming heist.

Circumstance #3: On the job
When I'm actually on the job (VILE job not side job), all bets are off. There usually is an unmentioned deadline for the job so we don't always take our time; that said, usually the week is spent performing my assigned portion of the heist and then adapting to whatever may happen on the heist. This is the most unpredictable part of thievery but also the most fun.

My week looks a little like a new apartment building... a lot of vacancies.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I have class until 5 p.m. so I go to the Accolade Cafeteria and eat with some of the Bunker Boys until it's time to go check the bunkers later in the day.

Tuesdays and Fridays, I have classes until noon, so I go hang at ACME Tech Labs (the other part of the Bunker Boys culture) in the afternoons and then go back to the dorms after dinner for some studying and video games.

My weekends is usually with the ACME Basketball team on Saturday afternoons and Violins Sunday mornings. Everything else is slushee time with @Zack and Ranking with @Pete at the laser tag arena.

Sundays
Sophie wakes up at 0500 hours for a 30 to 45-minute jog up and down the Embarcadero. Afterwhich, she has a quick shower and combines a small breakfast with a simultaneous video-conference session with her father and mother who live in Rockport, ME and Geneva, Switzerland, respectively. Then, she returns to bed for the rest of the day, until 1330 hours.

She arrives at the ACME Medical Center by 1545 hours. Her call at the Emergency Department will start at 1600 hours and run through until 0830 hours the following morning.

Mondays
At about 0930 hours, a rotation of senior physicians covering the Department of Emergency Medicine meet for a brunch meeting. They favour the Dim Sum at a place along Stevenson Street as fuel for this event.

Tuesdays
After the lunch meeting, Sophie arrives home to accept a 1430-hours delivery of groceries from Good Eggs, an online marketplace for local food and produce.

The rest of the afternoon is her personal time. She may go to the park for a picnic and to read, go shopping or have a facial and get her nails done, or visit the spa... Sometimes, she drives out of the Bay Area for a few hours, without much reason other than to drive somewhere. She has observed that this behaviour frustrates her in-vehicle GPS.

On Tuesday evenings, Sophie almost always has a dinner appointment with friends. Very occasionally, she declines dinners and uses this time to watch a ballet, go to the cinema or theatre, or attend a concert or recital.

Wednesdays
Sophie teaches, on a voluntary basis, for two hours at the ACME Academy every week. The class she instructs depends on which cycle of First Aid or Life Support course the Academy is offering during that period. She enjoys the interaction with the agents and cadets and usually remains in the Academy for lunch after her class.

If there are no First Aid or Life Support cycles requiring her hours that semester, she helps with the programmes at Environmental Volunteers.

She is also a researcher with the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regeneration Medicine and Stem Cell Research at UCSF. On Wednesday evenings, she conducts laboratory work at the Parnassus campus.

Thursdays
On most weeks, Sophie meets Gunnar Svensson at 0530 hours for a 60-minute run/walk session. Sometimes, this is replaced with inline skating.

Fridays
Unless under special circumstances, Sophie is not involved in the ACME Medical initiatives within the United States. Every other week, however, she does attend the weekly assemblies to keep herself informed about the happenings in the sector.

On selected Fridays, she may or may not have dinner with a member of the opposite sex. Otherwise, she spends the evenings perusing the pursuits of ACME Science and Technology, or attending to more administrative matters in Accolade.

Saturdays
There are often dinners or parties to be present at, but when there are not Sophie may remain at Eli and Edythe until late... or she may use the evening as quiet personal time, usually spent reading over an elaborate meal she will cook.

Note: This is Ivy Monaghan's schedule as it looks now. When she is no longer an instructor, all of her class time would be replaced by training, fieldwork missions or administrative duties.

As seen in the above schedule, most of Constance's weekdays are filled
with school.

Her morning routine can be found here: Q & A - Describe Your Morning Routine... | The Elusive Carmen Sandiego

Her evening routine can be found here: Q & A - Bedtime Routine | The Elusive Carmen Sandiego

In her leisure time, Constance does really anything that fits her fancy on that particular day. Common activities include practicing the violin, volunteering at the homeless shelter, participating in soccer games around ACME, shopping around town, visiting one of San Francisco's art museums, attending musical performances, taking a walk to a park, occasionally going on a hike nearby San Francisco, dueling other students on video games, and hanging out with friends.

Saturday mornings vary depending on how late Constance happens to stay up on Friday nights. If she gets to bed by 2200, then she will rise at 0600. In contrast, if she doesn't make it to bed until 0200 on Saturday, then she will sleep in to 1000 or so.

((Well... a 3.8GHz 24-core CPU)) The only Intel I've ever owned is this laptop (that I'm using now)... a former friend gave it to me ((my High Priestess... Wiccan IRL here))

((So... more on the soap opera that is my life now... "Day after folks got served, Kat told Bruce, Kathy, amber, crystal that she got the Hines' and Brandt in trouble. Kat also said she was going to clean out the 9th floor. Bruce let Hines know about it " That was told to me by ma a couple hours ago... I don't really care who knows my last name. I'm not one to drag into something, I tend to destroy everything.))

Hey @Tenchi Masaki btw I did save my password after my last bout of computer trouble. This time however I saved the wrong password so. As for Jon Eckart, I DO use Chrome browser the problem is when we I get on another computer the passwords aren't stored. That's my current problem. So I'm either gonna make a new account or figure something out 'cause I'm not bothering boss man :D :D

((So... latest is... Google Drive: Sign-in <-- the appeal hearing (they didn't know I was recording) (I'll run it through some filters and see if I can clean it up) They/we have a tour of a potential place Thrusday at 1PM-ish like a block away... but there's no laundry (far as I know)... you can find it, 512 1/2 St. Germain St., St. Cloud Little tidbits... I brought up that if they're going after the folks, what about the (roughly) half of the rest of the bulding who all smoke in the building. ))

((They're still packing and we're still planning things. If it goes bad way, we're planning for what to send down to my place (the paintings and the movie collection and stuff, not to mention the rest of the records). They have to wait up to 10 days to see what the "appeal officer" says... but they might have something being that they were never caught smoking, it was just that there was smoke smelled near their door ))

Been looking deeper into the cable cars and last night realized their brakes are wooden and need to be replaced every few days. Interesting

((So... this is the place.. 512 1/2 W Saint Germain St #1, St. Cloud, MN 56301 2 Bedroom Apartment for $650/month - Zumper. You have to go through both bedrooms to get to the bathroom. Moving stuff in is gonna be a struggle (wall outside main door is like a 60-degree angle)... big desk (mine), big entertainment center (the folks), "things" are gonna be weird (no privacy). The folks want it (gas stove in an apartment, claw-foot bathtub)... not all of our stuff comes apart nicely))
